Event standards

  • Pullups

In streetlifting competitions, the pull-up is a single maximal lift requiring strict form. The athlete starts from a dead hang with locked elbows. Kipping, excessive swinging, or incomplete range of motion results in a no-lift. Judges ensure full extension, strict control, and a clear chin-over-bar finish.

  • Dips

In streetlifting competitions, a dip is only valid if performed with strict form. The athlete must start with arms fully locked out, lower until the rear delt drops below the elbows, and return to full lockout without excessive swinging or momentum. Partial reps, shallow dips, or kipping result in disqualification. Judges ensure proper range of motion and control, rewarding only strict, full-depth lifts.

  • squat

In streetlifting competitions, the squat is a single maximal lift requiring strict form. The athlete must unrack the weight, stand fully upright, and descend until the hip crease is below the knee. They then return to a full lockout without bouncing or excessive forward leaning. Any failure to reach depth, lockout, or maintain control results in a no-lift. Judges ensure proper depth, stability, and full range of motion.

  • Muscle Up

In streetlifting competitions, the muscle-up is a single maximal lift requiring strict form. The athlete starts from a dead hang with locked elbows, though scapulas may be engaged. They must pull up explosively, transition smoothly over the bar, and press to full lockout with straight arms. Kipping, excessive swinging, or incomplete lockout results in a no-lift. Judges ensure full extension, strict control, and a clean transition over the bar.
